Brushes 01

I downloaded the iPhone app Brushes today. It's a painting program that is super easy to use. This is my first attempt at something. It's a still life of my old Ikea clock up on the mantle.

You designer/illustrator types rock. Maybe I could post some of my students' artwork and call it my own. Then maybe I'd get some respect.

so you do this all with your fingers on the phone? or does it take a photo and "brush" it?

You use your finger tip like a stylus. It's very intuitive and easy to pick up. There are three different brushes that you can make any size. The color wheel is similar to the Apple color picker with additonal adjustments for opacity and saturation. It's not Photoshop but a great little tool that is essentially a sketch pad that's always with you on your phone.

sigh. i hate the fact that i am sooooo hungry for art to hang in my house and am constantly looking for something that's not too expensive and even consider settling for thing that i see that are "okay" when i've got all of you folks around. maybe i should just hang all of you on the walls.
